There is so much that you can do with freshwater. If you want the challenge of salt (and a backhand from rallysman:D) then go for it.

Wait, I remember your pix in the intro thread. I retract the backhand statement

But, you were drinking a girl's beer, so maybe.........

ah, just do what you want LOL.

 this one?

Salt water is a big step. Ive thought about it myself and some day I wanna try it. Its much more money than fresh water, and more work, plus more knowledge and care is needed. Small mistakes could cost you big.

If I were to try salt, I would start small. Maybe a 20-30 gal and get some experience before I would think about going big.

Yea, that one!!

Come to my house and I'll introduce you to real beer hahahah.

I won't talk too much trash though. You look too much like Jeff Saturday for me to talk too much smack LOL

For real though, you're too big to drink that crap :D

 I was thinking like a 4 oz can! Jeff Saturday......lol. This is what it came down to for me when I went back from salt to fresh. Personality. I just wasn't happy with the fish in my 135 salt, no matter what I put in it, or how attractive they were. So I came back to fresh, american cichlids specifically, and am so glad I did. So much interaction. However, I didn't have my 220 at the time, so I might have thought about it longer if I could have housed some of the bigger guys. I didn't enjoy water changes though. I like the simplicity of fresh.
