Buy AC cool whole room down + use big fan on aquarium top. Almost all sumer those two thing's help me out. I'm using huge steel fan 140w.
220 gal set up. I don't know your country eletricity price but for me it's just 20€ 25€ more bill.

I thank everyone for their replys. I'm curious about a drip system. An a/c system would be far too expensive and I'd just buy a chiller at that point. Those have always been interesting to me but I have no idea about the logistics of that project. I'm pretty hands on and can build half way decent being an engineer and carpenter by trade. Water temp has been sitting at 87 degrees so I just need 3 or 4 degrees as most species I have are rather warm water species( Datnoid being the most temperate). My tank is plumbed in the most curious way. Maybe I can do something with that.

Run a cold auto drip as stated.
Better for the fish, will help keep a steady temp along w/ a jehmco heater controller.

And datnoid are fine in the high 80s.
iVe kept cichla, dats and bichirs all in the high 80s. Just use lots of airation.
