I see this on CL/kijiji all the time. Its like people forget what they bought and just type in the outer dimensions into a calculator.

I'm certain a lot of people on CL are simply guessing and usually they are over estimating. I always ask for dimensions from sellers. They always seem surprised when I reply to tell them the actual volume.

Dont want to derail this thread too much, but its all about belief of it being a form of dragon and the luck it brings / represents to the owner of one of these fish :)

hmm, u should've write down the equation, and probably could share it with us. and yeaah, thanks to the aquarium gallon calculator in the web makes size calculation easier. fyi, before this i even miscalculate my 30 as a 90, which also the tank where my dad's giant gourami lived for 3 yrs. O.O
soo, your brother got the 29 with a 50g pricetag? is the guy tht sold it to him also didnt know tht it was a 29 or was ure brother cheated?

Yeah the guy sold him a full setup for $150 witch isn't really bad but I personally wouldn't have paid more then $75-100 for the set up.

thanks man. it made unsure cuz I was checking on other forums and see some tanks that have the same dimensions as me and they said it's a 90.
A 90 gallon tank measures 48"W x 24"H x 18"D
