I'm on the verge of crying

I am seriously about to break down. Last night I saw what looked like a couple of ich spots on one of my baby pbass, so I bumped up the temperature and added a salt to the tank. The coinhabitants were 5 baby (5 inch and under) bichirs. 1 endi, 1 delhezi, 2 palmas, 1 senegal. There were also 2 severums. This morning, I found ALL of my little bichirs floating belly up, their skin eaten away at some parts of their body. I can only imagine it was the salt, but like I said, I am on the verge of crying right now. :(

thats really messed up, sorry 2 hear about it :(
 
Thanks everyone. It is hard to look past an event like this. Kind of feel hopeless watching your fish die and not be able to do anything about it

I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and not call you insensitive. With time, you will learn that a fish's worth isn't equivalent to the amount of money you paid for them. I would give anything to save the life of one of my $3 dojo loaches, while I didn't fret too much when I lost my $25 bgk. These little guys were my friends, all of them recognizing me and eating out of my hands. I could care less how much each of them cost
