1. boredom is the best answer to your question. cic2006 its cichlid2006, at least address me properly seeing as we dont know each other.
2. Wanna know why did he post it?. What does he gain from it.. looks like a sympathy move. Whats next grandma died? Maybe because his friends and acquaintances care that one of his favourite fish died and he needs vent his frustration.
3. He's from Bang bang Brooklyn. just tellin em to grow a set for crying over feesh via MFK..:screwy::cry: so he is supposed to care more about some gang banger that dies from a life they chose than a pet he has nurtured for a long time.

going home, finally!
Have a good weekend folks

wow, your the kind of guy that gives me even more reason to not care about adults and care about the lives of my pets more than the human race. your just a troll wallowing in someone elses misfortune.

Sorry to hear, bud. :(

It's always rough to lose something you care about.

Ok, seriously, what is your problem?

Instead of telling a perfectly nice kid to "grow a set" because he feels bad his fish died, maybe you should look into why that horrible personality you seem to have comes out when a young MFKer is grieving and looking for support?

Mentioning his grandmother dying?... You are absolutely pathetic. Have a heart.

How do you know his grandma didn't just die? What if she had, how do you think he would've felt?
And so what if he's looking for sympathy? Isn't that what people do when they're going through rough times? Maybe you wouldn't post a thread on here about a fish dieing, but you're not him. Another thing, you're gonna tell him to grow a set? Really? What business is that of yours, how does saying that benefit anyone at all...
Just let him rant and get over his fish, it doesn't hurt you at all.

And AJ:
Sorry to hear that dude, I know you've been going through some hard times, both fishkeeping and not. Keep your head up, it'll get better. We're here for you!

On a side note, I sell them at my store regularly for 10 bucks. I could probably send you one. Send me a pm with address and whatnot and we can work something out.

Flash Pleco? Wow $10:eek: I'll probably try Shark Aquarium first, since I always try to avoid ordering stuff to be shipped, but if I can't find one elsewhere, you will hear from me :grinno:
