I was offered $30 for trade on my 1 foot silver aro and I said no. I called another shop and they couldnt take him cuz they didnt have a tank for him but they have some customers who they are going to call. How much should i ask for it I was thinking lik $60-$75...

I know around here in WA State the price on silvers has went way down, i'd probably say $60 bucks max.. But then again they may go for more by you..

I wish i lived where you guys do is aros r that cheap. Here i paid 40 bucks when he was only 4 inches and now hes a foot

Sorry to say but you may be lucky if you can give him away. This is why people shouldn't buy these fish without a 100% commitment to keeping them. Not many people have tanks with 72"x36" footprints to properly house these tankbusters. Please keep trying to sell him rather than killing him. I would take the $30 before he gets even larger and hard to manage. Pet stores will never give you $60-$75 since they are in the business to make a profit. You may be able to find someone who will buy it directly from you for this price but I wouldn't count on it.

u might wanna read my first post at the top. i have the tank to house him but i live a a apartment and unable to put it up right now. but in my post i have a shop that knows ppl that would be interested in buying him.

50 bucks should be an okay price

Try selling directly on craigslist, you'll soon find out if the price your asking is right. You may have to hold on to him for a while to get the price you want, or if you are in a hurry to get rid of it you may have to take less. I myswlf would be concerned with finding it a good home.

BTW a tank with 72" x 36" footprint will not properly house a silver aro for life
