I'm selling my Aro.. What should I ask for it?

An ornate is too big for me! I have a senegal :) They're alllll still babies though, all under 6" I agree the hobby is mega addicting! I was actually just going to make a thread asking if its alright to keep an oscar with gars/bichir and knifes. Do you have any idea? I just want to keep adding, I've been to every LFS like every day this week!
 
I've owned 3 oscars and i ended up getting rid of them all they are one of the smartest fish and are a blast. but they are messy and can be vary nasty. if you get a small one and let him grow into the tank with the other fish it could work. Ive kept many fish that dont belong with each other. Try it out and the good thing about oscars is they arent that much money and fairly easy to get rid of at petshops
 
Yeah but I don't want an ornate that big. :p

Right now like I said all my fish are under 6" the oscars I want to get are about 2-3" I want to get two of them though, would it be alright?
 
I'd go with 1 oscar unless you plan on a bigger tank within the next year or so. You could try 2 but with the fish u got size will be a factor and fish get mean when they dont have enough room. Where
 
where did you get a hujeta Ive tried finding them for over a year now. they were my first choice over the aro but couldnt find one

My LFS always has hujetas! Little ones too, all around 3-4" for $10. I always get them from Nature Pet Center, I live in Montreal. Only a few hours from NY. Maybe you could try and get in contact with them and have them hook you up. Nature pet stores are only in Quebec, unfortunately.
