Try selling directly on craigslist, you'll soon find out if the price your asking is right. You may have to hold on to him for a while to get the price you want, or if you are in a hurry to get rid of it you may have to take less. I myswlf would be concerned with finding it a good home.

BTW a tank with 72" x 36" footprint will not properly house a silver aro for life

Sorry, I did know these fish require massive quarters. Guess I just underestimated them.

they can get massive with the right tank. id rather get rid of mine now so i dont mess his growth up. i didnt expect him to grow this fast cuz i was going to get him in a larger tank but i dont have the room yet. they are a great fish but not my fav but one of them

good luck with the sale. I think $50 to $60 dollar is fair price.

guys coming to check it out sunday ill let everyone know how it goes. he wants for his tank that has a royal catfish and a aligator gar

yea well i know its worth $100 or so but fish pricing is going down somewhat but if ppl really want a fish to set there tank off they will spend the money. aros r great and when i get the room ill buy another

I wish fish pricing was going down here. I want an aro sooo bad, there's some nice 5" ones at my LFS for $50. I don't have the money right now though, and I know within a week or so that price will skyrocket. :(

By the time I have the money to get a 5" aro, my gars and knife will be way too big to put with it, and the 7"-9" are like $100 here

If I had the money I'd get one in a heartbeat.

u should know that most arows will grow to about 16 inches after the first year u own them. I had a 6 inch shovelnose catfish and the aro destroyed him while i was at work. It was nice waste of $35 bucks. But aros can bang with most aggressive fish and they are fast so they can get out of bad spots

yea after my aro is gone ill be getting a ornate bichir and a african butterfly fish. The hobby is too addictiing. the tank i have now is all new fish cuz my pacu who was in my 125 died so right now im trying to find fish that catch my interest
