thanks all of you, i will try a 2" bulkhead and see how much that pushes out than if i need more i will drill another 1.

That said, I agree with going overkill on overflows. If I had a 600 gal tank I would use 4 1.5" overflows. I use 2 1.5" overflows on my 300.

did you read all of my response?Read the whole response. I stated the rate was through the bulkhead fitting only (without plumbing).
