Right, this is getting on my nerves. When you meet people for the first time etc. You will probaly bring up the topic of your fish, and then you probaly get a funny look, a ok....., or a "Isnt that a bit ***?". What do you say back to these stupid comments?

Anyone else get this? Or is it because im young?

Is it any stupider than spending money on watches, Oakleys, handbags, shoes, sports jerseys, cars or any other useless luxury we indulge in? I'd rather have my critters than spend hundreds of dollars a night at the club every weekend...

Exactly, same here. I do not drink, smoke, nothing, all money goes to my tanks or other pets.

I've had people make jokes about having a giant fish tank and spending over one hundred dollars on a fish... Until they actually look at the tank and cant stop staring.
