Trev, sorry for the derail. Will PM from here. For the record, I'm NOT saying your new ray is a "mutt" or is not BD. As you know, I have a hard time spotting differences as I'm used to looking at brown rays.... lol Seems the politics are unavoidable whether it's black or brown. :( One thing I can be sure of- and that is the fact that I will always hate politics. That's why I have Mr. Nibblez as my avatar now. He eats politics.
 
Nope no biggie at all... Im very happy with the quality of the ray and thats all that matters. Shes lookin better and better every day

That's exactly right!!! That's truley the ONLY thing that matters.....

just sucks we can't even share pics here on this forum anymore without a bunch of political BS. Nobody cares about the fact that owners are happy with thier animals, everyone just wants to police stingray IDs.

I feel kinda bad for you man, you've waited a long time to score a BD then when you do you have to deal with people saying it's not what it was bought as. No different then me with my fake Falks.... lol

I think some raykeepers here have kinda lost touch with the reason we keep these animals. It's cause we love rays, regardless of whatever some people want to label them as.
 
Thats the trouble is there are many different opinions on what qualifies as a bd and no scientific proof to back any of it up... Very grey area and we will always be argueing over it. I am fine calling her bdleo too

Trev.... Looks like a aaaaaaaaaaaaa high spot Leo to me, or as everyone else calls them, a BD! Nice bd trev, I too think it's horrible we have these so called "police" whenever the op is clearly just showing everyone their Georgous ray! Way to go buddy
 
i have to say that i am actually inlove with this ray. i think the markings are pretty badass..
the pattern looks like a human mask of some sort.
kinds reminds me of the dark sith face.
 
Whatever importer or collector made up the BD name should be beaten for all the trouble they cause lol

It is an exceptional ray with exceptional parents
