hahahahahha i laughed at reading most of this...Did you not see when i said i DON'T mention any names? I used to be involved in the game which is why i am respected by these kids becuase they knew who i was and knew where i came when i went to my new school. Just like everywehre else, we had codes and morals

u might not have mentioned names but u still snitched. When drugs and people with anger issues are involved u dont open ur mouth. period. unless they are stabbing people in the bathroom u dont rat.
those suicides had underlying issues. bullyin did NOT cause those suicides. there had to have been underlying issues that bully may or may NOT have exasterbated. Bullyin is not the reason they killed themselves. Just like that girl that killed herself thats all over the news. They are tryin to charge the kids that bullyed her with her death. The girl had massive underlying issues, which included a previous attempt at suicide. The bullyin just exaterbated her suicidal issues. If she hadnt been bullyed something else would have dont the same thing and she would have killed herself then.
My mom just recently attempted suicide. My mom has HUGE underlying issues with depression that her current highly abusive relationship exasterbated. Does that mean if she wasnt in the relationship she wouldnt have just attempted it? no, because she has done it before. she has been in and out of mental hospitol for that very reason. Thank fully the pos husband she has came home early and found her and was able to get her to the hospitol. She is fine.
fishingout, i like u. ur like a friend i had in HS. we'd fight constantly but still were friends(good ones at that). U always have something to say(usually dif from me) and it leds to a really good discussion. stick around

You're right lots of different things trigger suicide but you can't gurantee that the attempts would not have happen without whatever was causing the problems in their life (abusive relationship, bullying in the examples you cause). Almost all people who attempt suicide have extremely low self esteem and view of their own self worth OR are under extreme emotional stress. Do you know the long term effects of an abusive relationship? Of bullying? It's a HUUUGE recovery process people have to go through.

I don't understand what the big deal is. People commit suicide because they want death. They make up their mind, and they can change it at anytime. Bullying doesn't go on like most people think. There are officers at all the schools, hell mine had metal detectors. You tell the officer, something gets done about your incident. Cause its a police report. You want to make some changes right? Just be quiet, get through school, and become a super intendant or principal then you can deal with these little *******s all day. I never really had a group of "friends" in school. Everyone knew me as the "dealer", anything you needed I had. I also played two varsity sports so bullying for me really never happened. Fights broke out every now and then, but usually with the same group of people. I always could not stand those "gangster" kids with the over sized cloths and attitude of wanting to be from the "hood". I smacked quite a few of these kids, and got thrown out of my high school. After my learning a lot of what i did in high school, its best just to suck it up and get through it. Watch out for yourself bro, cause your just going to cause issues for yourself, for someone that can't even help them self. Eventually people graduate or drop out, and they become who they really are. Those *******s will have a child and not pay support and run into the law. Or they will live off my tax dollars. High school is a "phase" and it weeds people out, and sets them in the direction they want to go. Don't let some douche bag, or some victim change where you could possibly be going. Your there to get an education, not be super man. Get what you need and get out.
P.S. I think suicide is a big deal, not i don't think high school hardships are influencing it. If it is, then the persons mind is not developed correctly. This may be going on a limb but, what if taking themselves out saved a college shooting? Or even later murders etc? I mean they are most likely already unstable correct?

P.S. I think suicide is a big deal, not i don't think high school hardships are influencing it. If it is, then the persons mind is not developed correctly. This may be going on a limb but, what if taking themselves out saved a college shooting? Or even later murders etc? I mean they are most likely already unstable correct?

A lot of really good points to assist your challenges and help shape your walk. Simply put it's a catch 20 and the stakes are a lot different now than 10-20 years ago.
People snitch and they die in certain HS's, trust me. Most likely if your school has these kinds of issues they will "plant" narcs inside to do the dirty work. In this case it would be off of your hands to be the hero because you should be concentrating on grades, sports, arts, & dealing with social behaviors and just being a HS kid that has passion to do the right thing.
Getting all amped up is cool but it attracts attention (unwanted) from your peeps even if you think you're not sending a message you are and it could be dangerous, seriously. Of course this all depends on how tough a high school you're in and it's all relative.

Let the resident cop deal with it and don't make it look like you're the guardian angels as you'll still be on someone's radar. Be cool, be smart, & hang with all races and groups from the techs to jocks and be known but blend in.
You'll be fine because you "care" and your heart is in the right place so don't change a thing just work on how to infuse your passions with the people that can help. It's clean and won't drive the masses into thinking you're a snitch because if they think that so will the teachers and to be honest some of the teachers we have today are suspect in their own characteristics and walk...
