Just scoop the seeds out of the cucumber, and you won't have problems.

I use mangos occassionally, but just as a treat. I don't leave it in long at all, but the plecos for the most part go nuts over it.

Mango's eh, I must try some of these fruit foods. I worry about my PH but if its only for short times I supose its OK?

yeah. I leave mango slices in for maybe half an hour, be on the shy side is fine, just make sure it isn't too ripe. the greener mangoes are better, but not for humans, kinda sucks how that works...
