Will do,just did a 25% w/c and used what was left of old bottle conditioner.I think I will keep the babies in the isolation tank for now.I'll go back out later and pick up some BB just in case,it can't hurt to add some in.I've stressed myself out soo much over this I'm physically ill.

Well the last blue has been struggling all day to survive.I don't know if this info will help pinpoint whatever is going on but it's swimming a little then lays on it's side on the bottom breathing very hard and fast and after about 10 to 20 gets back up and swims for a minute then back to bottom.

whats your ph?

Ph was 7.6 and I don't double dose water conditioner because there's a reason why they tell you to only use so much.Do think they all of them may have a swim bladder issue?.Most of them are breathing fast,the blue is tring to stay upright at bottom while breathing hard and fast and the golds are breathing fast and seem to be doing better with staying upright.

I'm still going wit Nitrite poisining. Google it and read some discriptions.

Add aquarium salt to the water 1 tbsp per 5 gallons. Fish should show signs of improvement.

I moved them last from main tank night to isolation tank where they should of got better.I just watched my last blue take it's last breath in front of me and yet some how the golds are doing o.k,hopefully it stays that way.

excedrin, since I know your tank care is consistent, I'm leaning towards these possibles:
A change in your water company treatment (it's good to have a chlorine test on hand, to see if chlorine/chloramines remain after normal dose);
Your new water conditioner may have a different efficiency than your old one. either, or both of these 2 issues in combination could've damaged the fish's gills and yet not be detectible at this point. ;
Maybe or maybe not--> you did more sand turning last time than usual- I think you posted about sand concerns?

and finally, I've read posts that EBJDs are known to be more delicate than regulars and to die unexpectedly. so in this case, they could be disproportionately dying off like "canaries in the coal mine" without your tank being extremely off. just somewhat 'off' in water parameters, and briefly.
I am not informed enough to know, but if you have different colors from the same genetic batch as the EB's maybe they could also be weaker than regulars. (?)

Sometimes things pan out badly. It doesn't always mean that we altered the conditions so much that we should have known ahead of time.
Hang in there.

I read up on Nitrite and Nitrate poisoning and I'm leaning towards Nitrate because it fits the symptoms.Nitrite didn't fit the equation.It said it is possible for young fish to be affected by low levels like mine was 20.Even then by the time you see signs it's usually to late according to what I read.That was the point of isolation tank in case something happens and they need to be moved quickly you can before the worse happens.I'm happy so far that the golds made it but sad at the loss of the blues,Gizmo,Romeo,Puppy,and Blue Heart.I know they are in a better place. : (
Thanks again everyone for all the help it was appreciated more than you know.
