I don't know why you guys are saying what you are and I can only question the motives but be that as it may, I've had fish for almost 2 decades now currently in 3 tanks (60g, 110g, 250g) and have been buying my substrate from a guy named Richard at ZooSand.com for probably 3 or 4 years now. Even met in person numerous occasions! Not a single time did I even have 1 problem whatsoever with whatever I've needed.

I think you must be wrong or misled somehow because one of you even said he was a ripoff but I paid $40 for 115 pounds of aragonite. I dont know where you shop but thats cheap. your more than welcome to email me at mabbrams@aol.com but I just think its wrong to mislead people or who knows. Each time, like I said, Zoosand.com and Richard have ALWAYS given me an awesome price on everything, they're an A+ in my book and im gonna get him to reply to this.

How can you buy from ZooSand.com for 3-4 years, when it only started in 2008? You met Richard in person numerous occasions? Must be when you stand in front of your mirror every morning!

Thanks for the heads up. I think the confusion people are having is that the people with good experiences had dealt with Richard in the pass. Now I'm not going to comment on how he is doing business now, since I haven't bought anything from him in at least 6 months. I think when you deal with someone in person it makes it harder for them to rip you off. I know of a few MFK members that had positive dealings with him but I think all those people actually met with him. It's a shame that's it's so hard to find some nice sand for your aquariums.

the guy i dealt with wasnt richard. the email is completely different but he was definately from zoosand.com. i have the paypal records to prove it. and apparently, i dont have all the time in the world to pick a random supplier and claim that he/she is a scammer. i said what i say because i have proof.

I think that there are 3 things that have happened. Either you guys are telling the truth (I doubt but maybe - which would shock me), your not telling the truth or Im just flat out wrong about all of this and for some wierd reason zoosand.com returns all my calls, emails and gives me a great deal on top of it and then blows off everyone else???

Doesnt make sense. I would want them or anybody else I knew or whomever knew me to stick up for me and being that its such a rarity in this world where that scarcely occurs while people so quickly spread false statements and jeopardize reputations, etc

I just find that based upon my experiences over the past years and friends who I've referred, etc... that the descriptions written about zoosand are all impossible to believe.

I pretty much dont care to argue or go back and forth etc but I'll tell you this, If it were me who were pissed at any company for any reason and I wanted to say what they did to me or describe it in detail online, etc... I'd back it up with some proof, as I would think others reading would not validate a word of what I wrote if I didnt post anything proving my statements or at least a receipt or something proving what I said at minimum.

You aren't very good at subterfuge. No random person would say the things you've said. You started well but then you start asking for receipts and stuff and it is clear there is something at stake here for you.

I have no experience dealing with the company but it would SHOCK me that so many MFKers would make up stories about a reputable supplier. What's their motive? Also I'm not the better business bureau and not investigating the supplier so NO I wouldn't need proof. If a friend told you not to do business with someone because they got screwed your telling me you'd say Sorry bud don't believe unless you have some hard evidence for me. I need DNA, finger prints, pictures, tape recordings and other viable pertinent info. My guess is no, you'd say that sux bro thanx for the heads up. However your motives could only be interperted 2 ways. Either you are a good stand-up guy and everyone else are a-holes, unlikely or you have a vested interest because you are the owner or employee looking out for what you have a stake in. My guess is we won't here from you for too much longer at least under this username.

ok mabbrams how about this. you get me the same product that i ordered and havent recieved. and you prove to me that it was from zoosand.com. im not talking about ceremonysand.com or any other site. and talking about product that comes straight from irvine, CA. since you are so desperate for proof how about your give me that proof i want reciepts. email. transaction history with the company and information on paypal if you ordered through them. their legit phone # and the guy you ordered it from. also his # which i will contact the guy directly. then i will come back on here and apologize to every single one that has stood on my side. how about that. if you are so confident. i would like you to give it a shot. i want every single paper work or documents i have mentioned if you miss out even one. this will be voided and im gonna blame you for what has happend. fair deal? if you dont even have confidence in simple task like that please dont bring that junk on mfk. and start accusing me.

Ok..i got proof that both Aquariumsand.com, coloredsand.com and zoosand.com are owned and connected by the same guy. Look at the video here http://aquariumsand.blogspot.com/ which is advertised by Aquariumsand.com & coloredsand.com shows same video as in zoosand.com. Both video is a home made clip of sand being put in a small tank. Read older post or search online about Aquariumsand.com or coloredsand.com and you will know how this guy operate.

Mabbrams has to be lying that he's been buying at zoosand.com for 3-4 years since his other sites been taken down less than a year and putting this one up after wards. He just registered to this site to defend for zoosand.com seems a bit odd to me.
I think after reading this, he will take down that video =)
