the tank is actually 32x32 but the stand is around 31.5x31.5 so i did not have to remove the skirting boards.
when i fit it all properly i will add some 6mm MDF between the tank and stand and this will be 32x32, it will also have some filler to take up any gaps but i dont think there are any LOL.
i checked it with a spirit level and i dont have to shim it which is good so the floor must be straight.
i will make a frame that fits onto the inside of the wall above the tank and use the stand below the tank to fit doors.
these will be top and bottom for access and make the tank look like it is fitted into the wall.
i will use MDF which is very smooth and paint the doors the same colour as the wall.
this is the room it is going in it is my dining room which is a pool table diner and the area the tank is sited is my chill out seating area.
the room is 26' long.
the table is solid oak and is a pool table too with a 7'x4' playing surface.
