nothing new i can not start again until the sump is ordered so i can find the best place to drill the tank.

Looking good so far, you gonna finish it with some drywall and access doors? Hang a nice icecap fixture from that alcove! Great location between the two couches btw! Wish I had my own house.
ok it should be finished by this weekend.
i ditched the reef idea and will go mini monster grow out semi planted tank.
so and update.
first i painted 3 sides of the tank in black paint or at least my G/F did as i was doing other stuff LOL

i fitted the framework around the apeture for the tank to take the doors.
i marked them out drilled and fitted wall plugs and used screws as fixings, i also filled the edges will filler as i will paint these

i also fitted small wooden blocks to hold the light reflectors and bulbs.
here is the finished primed framework, i will finish coat tomorrow.
i also drilled through to the cupboard next to the tank as i had a plug socked fitted specifically for the tank when the stairs were built.
