If theres a whole for fish near by you should go an pic your fish your self if you can pa piranhas a legal right get some them every one like ps just get a different fish you dnt see every day. I go to alot of fish stores all the time an same thing same thing gets boring keep normal stock to tho for ppl not really into the hobby a ton

No one in PA sells pirahna, but they are legal.. so yes, I do plan on stocking them.

I have my fish pretty much listed on what I'll be carrying.

As for fruit flies... Zootopia? Really. That place is a complete hole in the wall.

It is a hole in the wall but it's the only store in the area that sells feeder roaches, phoenix worms, horn worms, etc..... They have that market ever since Turtle X-ing in Dillsburg closed.

I don't have to have a store to have feeders... hmmm..

I am significantly closer to you as well. :P Maybe I will just start breeding my own feeders and sell them locally.

My basement should just be my store. haha. The only overhead is electricity.

No time to read this all, good luck though, and to answer your question I think your medium sized boa and pythons and different colubrids like pines, gophers and other active snakes that keep interest. Cresteds, CB BTS for certain, lots of cool lizards that need to gain notice.

Anyways, my real answer is I would want to see clean organized simple yet proper cages. THey dont have to be fancy vivs that hide the animals and take too much work to clean, just nice looking substrate, clean water, heat side cool side, humidity or not, you know, clean and basic. Prices and names listed easy to find. Hide spots for timid animals, you know what I mean, anyways good luck.

Yea, sorry for the derail. But I think the crux of having a proper pet store that stands out to responsible people is one which is organised and able to provide care information independently, without asking the keeper. And simple but clean set-ups with healthy creatures.

Hey, i know a lot of people in pa who either want to set up their own store, are reptile breeders, or want to start a buisness doing tank maintance.

Side note u said for feeder lizards u could do $4, while seems high for feeders it does undercut petsmart prices so thats good

If you are gonna sell feeders, try to breed your own.. IMHO it will be cheaper and there will be some profit.

That's what I was planning, but I have to start with something
