So i was thinking of making an indoor pond out of plywood. I want to get as big a footprint as i can. So like 4x8, something along those lines. Trouble is i only want to get like 2 pieces of plywood.

So what would be the maximum hight i could do? I am thinking a real low tank like 17'' or so?

The tank will be made out of 3/4'' cdx, and 2'' screws. Now what should i seal it with? I was thinking latex DRYLOK, but if the sani-tred is cheaper...(is it?)

If its only 17", you'll have to raise it off the ground. Huge stand there for 8x4. Why not make it 2.5 ft/3 ft? Any Budget?

You cannot do it with ONLY 2 peices of plywood. You need frames, bracing, all kinds of sheit.

Oh yes i know, i was hoping to take the plywood from my work. It will be built on the basement floor so no stand needed.

And yes a small, small budget.

16" high.
Use one sheet whole = bottom.
cut the other sheet in 3 equal pieces = 16"
one of the 16" pieces cut in half.

cut list should end up like this:
1 - 48" x 96"
2 - 16" x 96"
2 - 16" x 48"

sounds very cool. i am guessing you could build for about $65. assuming
$20ea for 2 4' x 8' x3/4" plywood.
$21 for a gal of drylock or you could use a sheet of plastic pond liner and staple it after rolling it over the sides.
$4 for a box of screws.

This may not last for 20 years but will last a while.

I look forward to seeing pix of your build. keep us posted.

That was exactly what i was looking for!

I'm not sure if i still want to use DRYLOK, so i was looking into Sani-tred. I see that there is multiple Sani-tred products, so what is the best one to use and where do i get this stuff? How much does it cost?

Call them and tell them what your doing and the size and they will do the math for you and quote you a cost w/shipping. Great people to work with, email is second choice.
