Hello from a new, aspiring, MFK! I have a 68g tank, and I'm planning on getting 3 or 4 channa bleheri. There is a bit of a debate concerning the temperature they prefer. Many sources quote that they prefer colder temperatures during winter 18-20 C (64-68 F) and during the summer a bit warmer at 25-26C (77-79F). Do you have any ideas at what the optimal temperature should be?
Also, I'm searching for their proper roomate. I've already bought some yasuhikotakia morleti, but I'm pretty sure that when my snakeheads grow a bit, the morleti will be considered lunch... I'd rather have something from the Asian region, keeping it more of the certain biotope.
Thanks!
