info on longnose gar

what are the ideal conditions to keep them in? and what to feed them? i've never kept longnoses before so i don't know much.

basically the same as F/S. the only big difference is size which means a bigger tank.

longnose gar can be kept at room temp without a heater. depending on the size they will eat diffrentally.the ones who r les hten 1 inch to 2-3 in will eat mosquito larvae and feeder guppies. after they pass 4 inches they will eat small minnows then they will eat feeder goldfish and larger minnows. if you feed them at least once a week like this then they will grow to around 15-18 inches(or mine did at least) and thats pretty much all you need to know
