Injured Clarias

It's never too late to comment, my friend!

Yeah, it started with an injury that was worsened by babies nibbling at it and now it's where the cat is laying eggs while in quarantine!

My concern is about the injury healing... we'll see about eggs later...

As posted before your doing everything right, if you cat is laying eggs your doing it much better, time will heal

I sure hope so!

Ok, here's what has been done till now:

• Cat moved to tub last Saturday.
• Sponge filter and airstones added (the airstones are there for water movement).
• 50% of the water changed on a daily basis.
• Salt added every 2 water changes.
• Cat fed only twice since Saturday... a few pellets each time that were eaten during the night.

The cat seemed very active during today's water change... pushing around the hose and my hand... swimming around... I've tried to take a look at her tail but it's kinda hard to see properly in the tub... one thing I've noticed is that the wound doesn't seem as raw as it was before... so I have high hopes for it to heal.

I'm guessing that in two weeks the cat should be all healed up and ready to move back into the tank.
