ive never been to BAS but i go to pier quite a bit so i might give BAS a try.

Its to bad you cant get some Darters like the Candy, Rainbow, Tangerine and Blueside. That would be a perfect tank for them with some current.

I would do a sand bottom with a decent size school of corydoras on the bottom and some Cochu's Blue tetras on the top...but thats because I just spent some time admiring the blue tetras at my LFS yesterday.

Other than that I would do hillstream loaches on the bottom and danios on the top! Both of those would love a lot of water flow.

I think that tank would look great in-wall. ive always wanted to try exodons, so maybe a group of those.

thats what i was thinking, some darters and sculpins would be awesome, maybe some crayfish too.

alot of coldwater US native fish are illegal over here also all crayfish except cherax quadricarinatus.
