insect breeding

i was wondering what other kinds of feeder insects breed easily(besides crickets)and are suitable for a whites treefrog to eat
 
Roaches such as Dubias
They are apparently very easy to keep and breed, and are very nutritious

thats the problem I had.
Wife was ok with
1800g of fish
bearded dragon
3 different worm colonies in the basement

But when I brought up breeding roaches she flipped out!:nilly::ROFL:
 
pointing out that dubia roaches don't stink nearly as bad as crickets might help...
 
parents are afraid they would escape(are they native to TX)
