sharks groupers and eels are some cool salt water fish but i like fresh better easier to mantain unfortanately there are no freshwater sharks except the bull shark

There aren't really fresh water sharks

The bull shark can and is able to tolerate pure fresh water

But it's still a salt water fish

FW and SW both have their strong points, SW is ALOT harder to maintain but that's what i prefer and love about it, keeps me interested in the hobby. Cichlids are meh...... they're everywhere and its nothing special. But you look at a coral reef tank and its like WOW! that's beautiful.

If you want monster fish.. I suggest these for salt..

Radiata Lionfish, Undulated Trigger or Clown Trigger, Dragon Moray, Stone Fish, Scorpion Fish, Groupers, Marine Betta, etc..

Or Just got for a Reef tank.. Tons of corals available and a good choice of fish..
