but i gotta say too, that it should be considered fine if someone wants to marry into their own race as well. like you guys said, it's their choice. who's to say what's best for that individual? but when you try to push that on others is where the issue really is

Im white-australian, my girlfriend (of 6 years) is cambodian, parents didnt really have a say not that theyd care, her parents dont really seem to care either.
Dont get me wrong though, there are some culture differences

I try all I can to make him accept me, but it doesn't work. I mean, I go to school, I take care of my parents, work and try to spend as much time as I can with her. I try being polite and try to help him with anything he can't do.
