I know if this were nice STs I'd drop the money on one at this point in time. Everyone has a different amount in there head on what's a lot of money aswell. I drove 47.5hours straight for acouple STs once and god knows how many other long road trips just for fish I want when others acouple hours away complain about driving but I come to terms I guess on blowing the money or driving for what I want lol. I remember back in the day when I thought $50 was to much money to spend and now I have dropped thousands lol

Agreed.
I was willing to drop $3k on a interm once. But now I know that they are a beast to care for ( hardest cichlas to keep) I would rather go captive bred on this type of cichla.

This bass isn't "to each its own" it's about the time to care and baby it.

From what I've heard aswell and in a way I would love to try one out as a baby but for the right price and see if I could grow it up to be in mint condition. Maybe one day I'll decide on one.

IMO the importers are taking all the risk to give us the opportunity to fill our tanks with whatever we want, even intermedia now, cmon pay up and send them a tip while you're at it! Im surprised they can break even.
 
Would love an intermedia but very expensive in the uk.. and probably only from rapps
 
Jeff's are in and more than 350$ as expected. I think Jeff's pricing is fair, especially with all the fuss ya'all give over this fish. I'd charge more because it's the fish of the week! ;)

If you really want it price isnt an issue.
The one listed by eczs for $350 sold in less than an hr. Not a suprise.
The only downfall getting lg wild bass is the diffictulty getting them off live.
Hope to see some updates on some of these intermedia.
 
If i didnt have my kelberi, I would love to pick one of these up. Too bad their over 1K each.

HAHA- Apparently i should of bought Johns and sold it to one of you guys coulda got a new ray...
