internal heaters + big fish = devostating day!

I have lost many fish (jardini, electric blue dempsey, figure 8 puffer, 2 clown loaches, 2 golden nugget plecos, bristle nose albino pleco, ect.) to bad heaters. so i stopped buying cheap heaters and all i use is stealth heaters which are guaranteed not to break. I have had no problems with heaters since.

I had a brute of an African that was THICK, it was a smaller fish, only 7" but man... It could hold it's own.
So as it got bigger, it evicted a pike I had in the tank (I was like 14 when I had this tank) and that is the corner where the heater was... He would fight the heater all day, and all night. Id hear it slamming into the side of the tank non stop, for years (I never thought he would have broke it)... Eventually the inevitable happened, total loss of the tank.
That was my very first lesson learned.
