He still hasnt ate.. today i saw him scratching himself a few times on the tank wall, its the first time ive seen it ,but im not sure its the first time hes doing it. im thinking of trying to medicate for gill flukes, what do you think?

Ive finished prazi treatment with no response.. still hasnt eating,, i havent sen him scratching again after that one time i saw it.

Sometimes fish will scratch themselves because there is something in the water that is bothering them such as heavy metals. It does not always mean that the fish is sick.
im doing toons of WC and im using Prime so theres no reason for water quality problems or heavy metals. ive tried pleco waffers. the fish isnt eating for 15 days...
Is the tank actually cycled?
The tank actually seems way too small for that fish to feel secure and its immune system to kick up. The point of "rescuing" a fish is to place it in much improved conditions, not just a notch up. It needs the water quality(matured tank), hiding spaces, decor of some kind, etc...

Have you read all the comments? this fish is in this tank as quarantine. i have a 800L tank for him but theres other fish there.. since he isnt eating im afried that he is sick and that he can infect them. the tank was cycled and amonia and nitrit are 0..about decor i dont think that fish will enjoy decor, he has a plastic plants but other then that decors can hurt him

Reason number one why fish get sick is due to water quality and stressful environment, such as too small of a tank. Do you expect to get the fish feeling better if kept like that, quarantine or not. I am not suggesting you add sick fish to your tank. I am suggesting to improve the quarantine conditions.
It is the immune system of the fish that wards off diseases. When the fish is not feeling at home, it just gets weaker and sicker. Especially vulnerable are fish that are weak to start off, hence they need the "perfect" quarantine tank.

Pathogens are always present. No matter how well you quarantine fish there will always be pathogens present. Even if you haven’t added fish in ten years, if you stress them their immune systems will be weakened and they will get sick with something.
A true quarantine is at least 90 days after all signs of anything have gone away. This is how zoos and aquariums quarantine animals. They also provide large, proper tanks that will allow the fish to thrive during the quarantine. If two months in to quarantine a fish comes down with something the clock starts over and they have to wait another 90 days. So an aquarist doing a 14 day quarantine in a ten gallon with no decor and poor water quality is a joke.
