Regards to the recent baby indo trends, I just bought 7 baby indo (about 1 to 1.5"): two of them have symmetry 3 bar on both sides, and one has 3 bar on one side and split bar on the other side, the others are 4 bar symmetry on both sides..
It looks like the 3 bar indo are common based on my limited encounter with indo. It just happens by chance and I did not ask the guy at the LFS to pick out the 3 bar, I just ask them to pick those which are stable and as large as possible in the group. Any one has the same feeling...or care to share their experience.

Most indos grow 4 bars. But u get a few in there that are 3 bars. Its not uncommon. I lucked out & picked ip a forkbar symmetrical oddball

Some joker is saying that a 3 bar IT is a STxIT hybrid please dont take any of this info on board as its rubbish

IT have a lot of different stripe paturns compaired to any other TIGER

NTT nornally have 3 x thinner bars

NGT have fuzzy stripes

IT can have 3 bars 4 bars or even different on each side

ST can also have different stripes but they are normaly wide or forked

nothing is set in stone and the stripes alone dont tell you what tiger it is with the exception of AT NGT and NTT

It may just be because of the abundance of the minis that came in. I'm only in my second year of tigers but the few people I've talked to about them tell me they haven't seen so many come in at once before, also some people in Singapore told me some similar stories. I don't know if this is entirely true so don't hold me to it because I wasn't in the hobby but maybe that can shed a little light on it.

With the surge of mini tigers this year, I thought that may be they are bred in house. I can not figure out how are they able to catch in the wild that many mini tigers (in large quantity) to send out overseas? Another previous thread was already started and indicated that there is no evidence that they are bred in captivity, but I am still amazed of how they can catch that many small tiny indo to ship overseas for sale..

I have wondered about this for quite some time.I even made a thread about it a few years ago.
