Post some pictures.

Well think they catch and ship neon tetras by the who knows how many tens of thousands per year just like many other fish. I know not all neons are wild, just an example. The fact that it CAN be done doesn't surprise or concern me it's IF the population can survive it long term that gets me. From what I gather (from forums, talking to people in person, videos) tigers need to be fairly large before they breed period, and with the limited numbers as it is, not to mention an ecosystem that is becoming smaller and smaller due to damming, human progression etc AND a potentially slow growth rate in the wild, I'm a bit concerned about the magnitude of the hit the wild population took this last year (at least as far as minis go). I don't claim to know a whole lot about the environment these fish live in but from what I do know about what it takes for a species and an ecosystem to thrive and in some cases survive all things point to ITs and the other remaining species potentially being in the exact same boat as STs were not even a full decade ago. With the surge of mini tigers this year, I thought that may be they are bred in house. I can not figure out how are they able to catch in the wild that many mini tigers (in large quantity) to send out overseas? Another previous thread was already started and indicated that there is no evidence that they are bred in captivity, but I am still amazed of how they can catch that many small tiny indo to ship overseas for sale..
same as all large perch they are solitary ill agree with this 100% wont ever seen a group of large niles or chinese in same tank as adults so why people constantly try it with dat is beyond me....
