Is a 8h x 5t x 8w to big ?

I think I would build a 200g or so acrylic tank for practice before trying to tackle something super ambitious. That way you can have hands on experience working with acrylic and have a sump ready to go for the monster tank.

IIRC V victor448 has got two 500 gal acrylic from them. He likes them. Again, IIRC $2500 delivered each. First they delivered two smaller tanks (3' wide instead of 4') and thinner acrylic (1/2"). He'd not take this (they offered a huge discount), so they came through fine and did all right the second time around.

He's since gotten two more of the same tanks from a local builder (Orlando) for much cheaper and is happy about them.
