OK so im thinking this would be best as an experience thread with pics and videos. Members can repost about any fish they want as most people will have different experiences with the same fish. Variants can be part of this if the person wants to add. I think we shoudl stay clear of published info that is easy to find such as ph, and temp. I think that diet and tank size can make this thread take a bad left turn and bring about bashing that will cause the thread to be closed but i think it will also help others who constantly ask about tank size for a single, pair, or tankmates.

Looks good to me, we scrapping the "colour variants and similar looking/behaving species" part?
and Im not sure how diet could get people flamed, as long as people aren´t stupid enough to start posting "I fed mine on cheetos for 5 years" I don´t see how people could argue?

i leave the color variants to whoever wants to do them. Can also put put a comparison section in comparing them to other cichlids if you would like
yeah I just feel like if we compare, we could help people know which cichlids work together, that way say someone just got a 75gal and they really like Severums, it would help them find similar fish that could work.

Plenty of people believe that a high quality pellet is all you need for any CA/SA cichlid species. Plenty of people disagree with that. A number of members have been banned over it.
