Fish will already be stressed after shipping, so going into a noncycled tank could make that even worse.
Plus shipping cost alone can easily run up a tab, so it's really only something you want to do once and get right the first time.

I purchased fish from bluegrass about 2 years ago.
Everything went great, the fish were delivered the next day alive and well.
The fish grew out to be very pretty, and healthy, so I'd say the quality is good, as was the shipping process. GL

I've dealt with Eddie numerous times. I've made three or four trips down to his place to buy fish and ogle the stock. He's a good guy.

what he said except it was a trip across town for me. He really loved that the kids were who wanted to get the fish and knew what some of the fish when they saw them.

East end of Louisville Kentucky. As mentioned before he's got fish farms in Florida.

i will agree with everyone else Ive been to Eddies several times great guy and definitely quality fish I will probably be making another trip there in the spring

Thanks guys I think I will order at least my first several fish from there and see how it works out. My LFS doesn't know crap about cichlids and probably couldn't pick one out of a school of neon tetras so it's a good thing I have another source to get my cichlids from.
