Yepp.
Fish will already be stressed after shipping, so going into a noncycled tank could make that even worse.
Plus shipping cost alone can easily run up a tab, so it's really only something you want to do once and get right the first time.

what he said except it was a trip across town for me. He really loved that the kids were who wanted to get the fish and knew what some of the fish when they saw them.
 
i will agree with everyone else Ive been to Eddies several times great guy and definitely quality fish I will probably be making another trip there in the spring
 
Thanks guys I think I will order at least my first several fish from there and see how it works out. My LFS doesn't know crap about cichlids and probably couldn't pick one out of a school of neon tetras so it's a good thing I have another source to get my cichlids from.
