Unless you are like doing very large water change daily like 50% and above or your tank is very lightly stock. You won't be able to escape vaccumming your gravel.
once again this is no advisable as the large change in water parameters could stress your fish and its expensive on water and conditioners.
Best to just get a python and just vac it every now and then. I do it every week during water change. Takes only about an hour out of the 168 hours I have a week. Also the more frequent u vac the gravel, the less gunk there is each time you vac.
