Is fish at home and work going too far?

Dude, there is nothing wrong with having a little company at your work. :D I say you had a swell idea. When I did community service earlier in the year, the guy had two tanks of fish (one was a feeder tank). He had an Oscar and other assortments of fish.

We always find a way to keep fish anywhere we can. My betta moved from a vase to a 3 gallon. I decided, the heck with it. I'm running a led light and a mini whisper internal filter. How much energy can that use? It is a way when I get stressed to chill out by watching the betta. Not exactly a big mean cichlid like I like, but a mini attitude. It makes me happy, I like my little office setup and that's all that matters.

I don't think having a tank at home and work is going too far..I used to have a ten gallon at a group home I used to work at.

I don't exactly see a mobile car tank, interesting idea. I just have an issue with coworkers and family telling me that I am crazy sometimes just because of the effort and time it can take to maintain healthy fish.

I have a 300G with a Common snapping turtle in the entryway of my school. Kids love her, as does our secretary. I am in the process of setting up a 6' tank in my classroom as well (I teach 4th grade at a small rural K-8).

Another elementary teacher :) music k-5 here, once I'm in a tenure track job I'm sure I'll make it happen too
