Just the other day, I was sitting in my dentist's office and I picked up a copy of "Psychology Today". There was an interesting (and it appears, "timely") article which claimed that long-term exposure to an aquarium in your bedroom results in a form of psychosis resembling acute paranoia. Apparently, it has something to do with the realization that the fish are watching you while you're sleeping...or perhaps engaging in other nocturnal activities.
