Is it a trimac?

Yeah, that was definitely my intent...if only I could look cool on a fish forum, my life would be complete.

Lots of people make statements about how "If it came from Rapps it must be such and such" instead of actually LOOKING at the fish. I don't care what species. That's the point I was trying to get across. Question everything. After re-reading it it was worded poorly. I'm well aware Rapps bred these trimacs, and again was not insinuating in any way that your fish is not 100% Amphilophus trimaculatus. I believe Rapps provides great fish and is a straight shooter and have done business with him in the past and will do continue to do so in the future.

If you're still a bit upset about me not wanting to text for an hour to get to the point of looking at a fish for you just call me and talk about it instead of this passive aggressive internet stuff.

I think the point of this thread is summed up nicely in your second paragraph. :)
Trimacs have a wide range (Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador). Maybe this will shine a little light on an under-appreciated species!

Just stating the truth, this thread was jaw dropping pointless....

I have yet to stoop to your level, as I come here to learn and help, not show off and make fun of people.
