Is it bad luck to name your fish???

I can't attempt to name my fish (other than using their scientific name). The hatchery is down to less than 20% capacity and there are still over 1,000 fish to deal with. I have a hard enough time remembering all of my cousin's names without adding the fish to the social list.
The only fish that do receive names are the feeders. Their names are Monday, Tuesday, Wednes...

ive kept fish for 15+ years and ive never named any of em lol
 
I named a BGK Cooper, and it died. Mainly because I was noob. Even still, I haven't named a fish since.
 
SO here are a few of mine.. i dont name them ALL only because then they would need name tags on the tank for me to remember all those names.
