Is it good to feed your fish with Earthworms?

My local bait shop owner orders trout worms (earthworms, smaller than night crawlers) for me in bulk. I buy 200 a week from him. My fish love them!
My jag loves him some earthworms. I only feed worms april-october when the worms are up and about, I am too cheap tp buy them, I just dig them up myself
we have a wormery in the garden it's just a largeish plastic tub with holes at the bottom,damp newspaper and pestiside free compost. then u get some worms and they breed like mad. you can throw all your left over veg in there and they eat it right up

I only did once when I had native species. But from what I heard it is ok to feed them every now and then you just have to be careful where they come from and of there quality. You can introduce disease and other unwanted factors into your tank if your not careful.
