some good answers already

do you eat before your workouts? and how long before your workouts do you eat?

just wondering but do you do strength and conditioning also? my brother who is a firefighter does strength and conditioning to stay strong also. running will only give you a certain kind of cardio, but it's also a good idea to work on the strength and conditioning of your muscles that go into that line of work

just my two cents based on what i see from my bro

I also do conditioning. I eat before work outs and I try not to eat after work outs. When I eat after the gym it seems like I just gained it all back again. If I do eat I dont eat much.

Most Jersey running clubs I know of (my bro in law is a runner) all go out drinking and eating at bars after their runs. Not sure if thats good or bad but they do it.
I used to power lift also and would pound protien after workouts also-chicken,fish etc

Yes you should eat pre and post workout, for example-

Pre workout (taken 10-15 mins before your workout)
proetein powder, creatine etc in water.

post workout- (taken streight after your workout) protein powder, glucose powder etc in water.

3-4 hours after that you need a sollid food meal.

-Do you have any problem with suplements?
-How hungry do you end after running?
-Do you want to lower your body fat or just increase your condition?
-What kind of food do you eat?
-Are you doing any kind of diet now?

Personally I cant live with just protein shake or bars after hitting the gym.

I used to take the prework-out shake just before going to the gym but now Im consuming Isopure and I feel my stomach bloated.

after any kind of body work out. you should eat after. using up all the energy and muscles your body is begging for nutrients after a workout. so feed it!

lets take a basic look at health and life first,

1. if you dont eat, you die
2. if you dont run, you live

by these rather complex calculations that i have spent many a sleepless night over, it is safe to say that you can eat whenever you want, with no need to run.

if you think you gained it all back from eating after a workout. thats cuz you're prolly eating garbage food after a workout. eat healthy and clean. losing weight is not about not eating, but working out and eating right. eating right is the most important thing to being fit unless you have crazy good genetics like my brother that eats anything and doesnt work out and still look ripp.

I envy this people so much. If I want to have a good body I need to eat absolutly healthy, workout like crazy and do a lot of cardio.

I would have a empty stomach feeling so I have the urge to eat.

Both

-What kind of food do you eat?
I am asian so my meal consist of rice, meat, and sometimes veggies. I replaced white jasmine rice with brown rice.

-Are you doing any kind of diet now?
Not really just watching my portions. I am also trying to stay away from junk food and fast food.
