they should be fine, i have my jar with a gatf, discus and a dat. they all do fine
Most likely the reason your comm. works is because there was so many fish and the aggression is spread out not to just one fish

I would like to take back my comment I made earlier in this thread. I witnessed my friend's jar attacking his 3 oscars last night. His Jar was around 7 inches and his oscars were around 4 1/2 - 5. His fishes were feed daily also. Just wanted to let you know.

alright then. i might have to get a bottom dweller fish then so the jar wont bother it much. maybe a bichir.

my jar was and have been fine with bichirs, catfish, stingrays, pleco and a few more...i am tring them with dats now, they are still young so it is not a true test yet...so far they are only agressive tward other aros...

aite thanks for your update. i might get a different fish to be with my jar. if not then maybe i will just try to keep it alone and maybe introduce it to another jar as it gets older.

if you get dats(i think they still have some at forest lake though i dented their stock... i took several;)) do alot of plants and i just added a rock plie to the dat tank and they are in it more then anything else...they are more active and showing good colors with the rock addition...
