I have gone into LFS's and swore to my self i wasnt going to buy any fish,but then it happens "BANG", i would come across a fish that would just get me excited and i would just have to have it if i didnt have enough cash on me i would rip out the ol plastic(wich i seldom ever do!!).

I am the same way but about most animals. I always go for the underdog. I think "that poor thing, no one is ever going to take it home" so I am the sucker that ends up taking it and giving it the best life possible. Usually they are the ones that live forever!!!
Its seem like there is alot ppl out there that like the under dog fish/pet. There could be a market out there for these fish
Its kind of like a parental thing i think. You know the fish could live a long life if given a chance. You also know the fish store will kill it cause no one wants it. So you break down and get it. I have done it so many times. My mom has done it and given me the fish....
She would be like "OOOOOoooh look what I found that needs your help.." lol
