  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
no the cycle has been up for the past week, also whenever i do a waterchange on the 55 i put that water into the 300 to get it cycled faster

you can def. see the hip bones sticking out in your video, keep up with the nightcrawlers..
But, if you have an internal parasite your fighting an uphill battle, and he could 10 a day for a while and still struggle.
Have you treated him with PraziPro or put him through quarantine?

yes.... he is in there right now i have been watching him carefully i just have a little 1 inch green spotted puffer, i know you wont believe me but he really just stays by himself, and for the most part i read about people putting rays with arwanna's which can really do dammage, and right now that ray is the king of the tank and whenever he moves the other fish leave him alone

im sorry to tell you you are going to kill this ray

you realy need to read up on fish before you buy them

if you add any meds to a ray tank it will be dead buy the morning

i did read up on them... i know that a proper tank is at the very least 180 gallons, they eat earthworms, shrimp, raw fish, and some pellets, normal temp for them is at 86 deg, they are very much effected by amonia spikes which is why you dont want to have more then 1" of any type of substrate in the tank, you also want to have either plane bottem or sand, or else some gravel that is NOT sharp PH levels dont really matter.... what matter is fluctuation within these levels nitrate and nitrite should be at 0, stingrays are very susceptible to any type of medication as well, everything is mainly treated by raising the saltisity in the water, (dose at a time) and disolving it in water before you put it in the tank otherwise it could burn the ray's disk. I have heard of this praziPro before, my question was about if it is required or not.... trust me ... i did my research im not saying im the best ray owner there is obviously im am going to over look something but i dont apreciate being told im going to kill a ray when i am doing everything else right besides asking the question that will help improve the life of my ray..

ok fair enought

how long have you had your ray ?

its just im sure that puffer you have is ment to be brackish water and any heathy ray would be able to take that out if its small

if the puffer is big then its only a matter of time until the puffer does some real damage to the ray

i have used several medications in tanks with rays with no problem you just have to be carefull... also prazipro is only needed to remove internal parasites so if you think you have one then treat... :chillpill: no body trying to start a fight T1 is very good with stingrays lots of knowledge.....
