is it safe to feed nightcrawlers?

I think he was saying that he puts the flake food in the soil with the worms, to make the worms more nutritious. I've considered doing that myself, but decided it would be more efficient to feed the flakes or pellets directly to the fish as their vitamin enriched staple, and just consider the worms as an occaisional (or daily) protein treat.

My Oscars love nightcrawlers, I just use the bait ones from walmart
