here is my 225 tall set up.(stand and tank only)

and here is the 410G glass tank. tank only(half a hex. 12 long in back,10 feet in front,3 feet tall, and 22 inches wide). only think is the front bottom leaks, and I don't know if my parents would let me keep it in the living room or den.

HOW MUCH DO YOU THINK IT WILL COST TO GET IT THE FRONT BOTTOM RESEALED,AND HOW MUCH WOULD A STAND COST(2x6,2x8,or 4x4 covered with a 4x8 ply wood pieces with doors cut out is find with me).
WORTH IT OR PASS IT?:headbang2:nilly:

Well, if you are willing to go through all the hassle like resealing it, making the stand, moving it and getting your parents approval like you stated above then its definitely worth it. Personally, I wouldn't do it because thats just too much work..

I would trade it in a heartbeat. Resealing and building a stand would be simple and cheap.

do you know about how much a aquarium builder place would charge to reseal it. also how much would it cost in steal or wood to build a stand.

Sealing a tank, imo, from reading endless "how to do" posts on this site, should be pretty easy, and you could probably do it yourself. Along with a stand if you had help. You just have to remember how heavy that thing is gonna be.:D

Me? I'd keep the other tank because I don't have room for a tank that size, but if I had the room, it would be mine, oh yes, it would be mine.

its all up to you building the stand and resealing is a piece of cake but getting the approval is the hard part but if you can work it out its a good deal

That massive tank looks wicked!

IF I was handy I'd take it, IF I had the space I'd take, IF I could get my partners approval I'd take it...

money wise it would probably be worth it....for me I wouldn't want to mess with resealing the tank. But.... if you feel comfortable with it, I would say go for it. That 410 tank would be awesome once it was up and going :)
