is it worth it trade 225 for a 410?

It doesn't matter what we think. Your parents aren't going to let you have a tank that size in their living room!
Resealing is easy. You could build a very nice stand for that tank for less than $200. Well, at least I could, but I assume you should be able to as well. Just make sure to think it through.
Deepsouth, you have a point. I can't get my mom to let my dad have a fish tank either. She has a house full of stuff and she won't even let him have a 30G tank. Selfish, selfish. I'm going to get him a tank and just set it up without her knowing. She'll just have to find out after the fact. LOL

update he said he might buy the some glass and silcon and help me euro brace the bottom and reseal it, and he said his buddy possible still has the stand. I'd just need 6-8 maybe 10 people to help move it ok, maybe 15 max, and a trailer i'm going to come look at it this afternoon. it's only a 45 min to an hour drive.
Id get it in a heartbeat,but Im the parent here so theres room for as many tanks as I say there is.
