I rather doubt that, if they do, buy me 6, and send them to me! There are many false "Zebra" plecos out there, but only one true zebra.

i sold mine as fast as possible they were boring as hell.
oh and davo i never replied in that linked thread i sold them for £90 each and i had 4 of them 2 males and 2 females.

Damn i would have bought them for that much. Killergar, there are many plecs sold in place of the hypancistrus sp. zebra (L046), and it would be unusual for them to be priced so unbelievably low. Most "zebras" are other different Hypancistrus species, and even some Peckoltia.
I wouldn't say they are particularly boring fish, the genus as a whole in my opinion/experience are quite personable, but i know they are one of the less active Hypancistrus species.
