Is it worth it?

Keep in the garage after the reseal and see how it holds up. May need to be resealed but if done right it’ll be worth the effort.

The only problem with that is my garage isnt attached or heated and its about 25 degrees Fahrenheit outside right now.

I say it is worth the effort to reseal if the glass is in good shape. Worst outcome is you put it back up for sale again. Even being a big and heavy glass tank, I'd buy it.

Yeah I really think I'm going to go ahead and take the dive on this one because I could always use the glass for a plywood build if i go that route.

I think you would be silly not too.

as others have mentioned, 100 is cheaper then the glass . even if you don't get the tank fixed, you can reuse the glass in another project

Yeah, i could always due the tank in my basement. though its unfinished it stays warmer than the garage and i wouldn't have to worry about the silicone.

Here is the pic of the tank. its really old from the looks of it. I think it's only a 180 though but thats fine with me ill clean it up and make it pretty haha.
